1) The values given are average consumption values of typical building sites when spreading mortar with a mortar sled. Mortar loss should be planned for according to the conditions at the site.
2) The values given are only applicable for thin bed mortar that exhausts the approved spectrum for particle size of the aggregate (DIN 1053: up to 1.0 mm; according to general structural approval: over 1.0 mm) in connection with suitable toothed plates. In other cases, the values may be increased by 35%.
3) Butt joints are to be mortared.
