Sound Insulation
Sound insulation as per DIN 4109; for single-whythe building components
1) Rxw value with regard to "AAC-Bonus" (+2dB) for walls with an area-related mass < 250 kg/m² and unit apparent density < 0.8 kg/dm²
2) For flanking components with a mean area-related mass of 300 kg/m². The correction values as per Table 13, supplement 1 to DIN 4109 are to be applied for flanking components with a mean area-related mass diverging from 300 kg /m².
3) Wall thickness < 175 mm; Double sided internal plastering: 2 x 10 kg/mx; Wall thickness > = 175 mm: Internal plastering 10 kg/m² and external plastering 15 kg/m².
