Thin bed mortar is a mineral-based factory produced dry mortar used in the application of flat block masonry in accordance with dIN 1053. When water is added, the mortar is usable for masonry work for up to 7 hours. HD thin bed mortar can be easily spread with an appropriate trowel on all wall thicknesses creating an optimal joint thickness. Repair mortar is used to close irregularities.  Due to the fact that its properties are similar to those of aerated concrete, heat loss is avoided at the points of repair. The handling time after buttering is approx. 8-12 min.
