Advantages of the PE-construction system
Freedom of planning without being bound by grid dimensions through the production of project-specific wall construction sets in the PB-PE factory. Suggestions for optimisation are included in the service.
Low risk of potential building errors by means of object-specific installation plans. Delivery of complete wall construction sets and on-site installation instructions by our staff.
Creation of lists of materials and parts for exact calculation of materials.
The high degree of dimensional accuracy of the PB-PE enables plane walls of high quality to be easily built . The application of thin plaster layers is possible, and the amount of moisture in the building is significantly reduced.
The elements are easily installed with a low degree of physical exertion with the help of easy-to-use installation devices, and may even be installed by semi-skilled workers.
Project-specific delivery of pre-fabricated construction sets protects the environment as building rubble is avoided. All parts supplied are installed. There is no need to saw or cut any parts to size on-site.
Advantageous reductions in working time translate into labor cost savings of up to 50% as compared with conventional masonry work.
Up to 0.625 m of masonry are placed in one stroke. The rapid pace of the construction is visible, resulting in shorter overall construction times and correspondingly shorter financing periods.
Installation: with commercially available installation cranes (mini-cranes):
Lissmac-Vario-Gripper + replacement
claws VWB PB 200 A
Art.-No. 821149
Multi-gripper H 20 + 1 pair replacement claws
Order No. 7900000122
Carrying capacity 250 kg for PB-PE
Stipulations for installation:
- Masonry as per DIN 1053-1:1996-11- Single-whythe wall with thin-bed mortaring and mortaring of cross-joints
- Wall is to be bonded by lapping units over each other; length of lap according to DIN 1053-1:1996-11, Section 9.3
- Adjustments for height differences only in the bottommost or topmost row of the wall
- Only use adjustment blocks with the same calculation values as the PB-PE wall set
- Walls at 90 degree angles to each other should be set by overlapping units or with anchors at the abutment
- Commercially available wall anchors are to be used for double-whythe masonry
*The vertical distance between the anchors may be up to 625 mm, diverging from DIN 1053-1:1996-11; the horizantal distance may diverge only max. 250 mm from the Standard.
The aerated concrete building elements are manufactured according to the archetictual plans submitted and delivered to the construction site as complete wall construction sets including the necessary special units and complementary units, lintels, etc. as well as installation plans. Aerated concrete building elements are produced in the compressive strength classes 2/4 and the apparent densities 0.4/0.6 in wall thicknesses 175, 240, 300, 365 mm. Additional formats are available upon request.
- Dimensions: 998 x WT x 623
- Wall Thickness: 175 x 365 mm
- Compressive strength/Apparent density: PP 2-0.4, PP 4-0.6
